And welcome to the study of The Arabian [or 1001] Nights!
This blog is designed to supplement and help prepare for the graduate course English 623: The Arabian Nights in Literature and Culture, which I (Prof. Charles Hatfield) will offer this fall at CSU Northridge.
To get an overview of what the course and this blog will be about, visit the page titled Open, O Simsim! To see what textbooks we’ll be using in the course, visit the page 623 Textbooks. You can visit these pages by either clicking here, in this post, or via links at the top of the page.
Feel free to post questions about the course on this blog!
